    Biography

    Pierre practiced concentration and insight meditation intensively from 2010 to 2012, then went on to study meditation at Wat Suan Mokkh with the venerable Ajahn Po from 2013 to 2015. As well as carrying out his own practice, he has coordinated meditation retreats in the south of Thailand which have attended by more than 1,000 people.

    Holding a great passion for the field of neuroscience, he likes to integrate these concepts into his meditation practice. He believes that much of our life is lived resisting and defending against internal and external experiences that we perceive as threats. Through the development of concentration and meditation, we can insightfully see that all experiences are harmless and there is no need to defend or contract around them.

    Pierre has experience in coordinating concentration and insight meditation retreats, by teaching the relationship that exists between Buddhism and neuroscience.

    Prior to focusing on mind practice, Pierre’s extensive background in economics saw him participate in assessing the eviction effect of government spending on big infrastructure projects and evaluating the costs involved in judicial conflicts and the real and financial impact of tourism events. He also contributed to the financial flow economic review of Canada’s banking sector and the estimation of the impact of a modification of the Retirement Registered Saving Plan of Canada (RRSP) on the balance payment of the country (impact on the outflow of capital).
